I am an artist from Southern California raised on Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and Bob Marley; dig U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Ben Harper too. I play SoCal Jamrock--a blend of vintage rock, funk, soul, and reggae. Oh yeah, PIUMA is pronounced like you are throwing a pie in Uma Thurman’s face, get it: pie Uma. Piuma is a place near where I grew up; on full moons random people used to go up there and bring instruments, jam, and chill--it was Unity in Diversity which is what I am all about--that’s why I choose PIUMA as the name to write and play under.
